I wrote this review before I went to the spa which turned out to be another bad experience. They have a new policy of not turning on the sauna and steam room till 1.30 pm so they were cold.
I won’t stay anywhere else when coming to Brum….i mean what more do you want other than a clean, quiet room to enable a super restful night followed by a great brekky?!?
Wrecked the vibe to be perfectly honest as we was super tiered and could have done with a nap before enjoying the rest of our night. We was really annoyed and not one staff member had the decency to even apologise for the delay. We both decided to leave and just go back home by 9pm the same evening. Very poor experience and a complete waste of money.
Overall, Glasgow has a great selection of casinos to choose from. Whether you’re looking for a night out with friends or a romantic evening, there’s something for everyone.

No notices anywhere in the spa or room. I spoke to the hotel duty manager whose response was to say the spa is run by another company and it’s a free added Em excesso. He said I should have read the email my husband received after checking in.
Grosvenor Casino Merchant City is a popular casino located in the heart of Glasgow. It offers a range of games, including blackjack, roulette, and poker. The casino also has a bar and restaurant, making it a great place to spend a night out.
Food was but ok but not to our liking. The dining atmosphere was let down by the casino patrons, who dressed very casually, some wearing jogging bottoms and trousers. Unfortunately, would not revisit or recommend.
The door could be unlocked so I am assuming that was the same from their side. A restless night ensued. Back to the ambience of the immediate surroundings...trust me on this, the view was like something from a run down bedsit in the Bronx. I slept here and that was about it. Couldn't stand to spend anymore time here than absolutely necessary. For £40 more than I paid I could have stayed in a 5 star hotel up the road. Certainly not worth what I paid, which was just short of £cem. The breakfast was average, tables were not wiped (I did this myself) there were missing items off the advertised menu which was cheap and tasteless. Just about got through it. Certainly read more the worst hotel I have stayed in. Buyer beware!
. We had the joy of a magician to entertain us whilst we waited for our food and he was excellent, one of the best we have had the pleasure to see. I wanted to also say a specific thank you to Sharon on the reception area who we have known now for many years and she always makes us feel welcome, she is an asset to the business. Keep up the good work.
If it was raining we would have got very very wet!!!! But apart from that still an amazing location and lovely hotel.
Watched a few people empty rubbish out of their cars and dump it on the floor - this was just after arriving and parking up. The multi storey car park was in darkness and had builders yard fencing in front of it. The car park is full of badly parked cars. The mindset of the people here was embarrassing - people eating and dropping food and litter despite standing within a few feet of the bins.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is located in a convenient location and offers excellent access to the city's popular attractions. The service at the hotel was exceptional, with the staff being friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist with any queries or requests. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed with modern amenities, ensuring my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
